Beginning Again
After blogging at Typepad.com for 18 1/2 years, in August the company announced that they were ceasing business and those of us having accounts would need to find another space. Originally I thought maybe I would just call it a day, end of an era. The main purpose of my blog was to participate in Tuesdays with Dorie , baking with the group since 2008, enjoying the friendships made throughout these years, dear to my heart. The group is currently baking and blogging through Dorie's book Baking with Dorie . Coming out this fall, Dorie Greenspan has a new cookbook ( Dorie's Anytime Cakes ), and Steph, finding herself with an extra copy, in her generosity, offered it to me. Thank you ever so much, Steph. And, well... If you give a girl a book, she's going to need a blog to go with it (to paraphrase If You Give a Mouse a Cookie ). I'll be needing a blog to keep participating.
